Where is the experience located?
Water Tower Place, 835 N Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL 60611. We are located at the corner of N Michigan Ave and E Pearson St.
When do I need to arrive for my reservation time?
Please arrive any time within your allotted 30-minute window. If you aren’t sure what your day’s schedule looks like, check out our Premium Flex Entry Tickets and come whenever works for you!
Tickets are valid only for the date and time purchased. If you or a member of your party is not feeling well, tickets can be adjusted to a new date and time (subject to availability). If changed prior to the date and time of the tickets. Fill out this contact form to swap times.
Can I leave the experience and return?
No. Reentry into the Experience is not permitted.
Do you accept cash?
We do not accept cash. We accept cashless payment in the forms of credit and debit cards.
Is photography and video allowed?
You're encouraged to take photos and videos throughout the space!
Remember to share your photos on social media with #HPMagicAtPlay so we can see them!
Are food and drinks allowed inside the experience?
No food or drink allowed. Resealable bottles of water are always welcome.
Are pets allowed in the experience?
We love your fluffy friends, however pets and emotional support animals are not permitted inside. Service animals are welcome.
Will food and beverage be available?
Yes, licensed Butterbeer™ and small bites will be available for purchase, inclusive of vegan and gluten-free options. Available to the public! Please note, no outside food and drink allowed.

Where do I buy tickets?
Tickets are available here. A limited amount of standby tickets will also be available for purchase at the door (subject to availability).
How much are tickets?
Standard tickets start at just $37.50 for guests ages 10 and up, and passes for children ages 3-9 start at $29.50 plus taxes and fees. Price may fluctuate around in-demand or "peak" times and dates.
Is there a ticket purchase limit?
No, but orders are limited to maximum amount of people who can visit the experience in a given time slot. For groups larger than 25, please email info@HarryPotterMagicAtPlay.com for assistance.
Can I refund or exchange my ticket? Are tickets transferable?
Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you or a member of your party is not feeling well, tickets can be adjusted to a new date and time (subject to availability) if changed prior to the date and time of the tickets. Fill out this contact form.
Are tickets available at the door?
Limited standby tickets are available at the door (subject to availability). Guests with pre-purchased tickets have priority, so we recommend buying tickets online in advance. Tickets purchased at the door will be priced at the regular peak ticket price level and include an additional fee.
Do you have gift cards?
Yes, we offer digital gift cards for tickets to Magic at Play HERE. We do not offer any gift cards for on-site merchandise or Butterbeer.
What if I bought my ticket for the wrong date or time?
Tickets can be adjusted to a new date and time (subject to availability) if changed prior to the date and time of the tickets. Fill out this contact form or visit the Help section of the Fever app for assistance.
Do I need to print my ticket?
We can scan your ticket directly from your mobile device, so please save the paper and ink and don't print your ticket unless you have to.
Are there discounts for children?
Children (2) years of age and under get in free; guests over the age of three (3) will need a ticket.
Merchandise
Can I buy merch at the experience?
The Harry Potter™: Magic at Play Store gift shop will be open to the public and ticketed guests any time Harry Potter™: Magic at Play is open!
Do you accept refunds/exchanges?
Yes, we accept returns within 30 days of purchase. If you have any questions about your purchase, please email retail@HarryPotterMagicAtPlay.com.
Parties & Private Events
Can I host birthday parties / celebrations at the experience?
Yes! We would love to host your next birthday, holiday, graduation, or Quidditch World Cup finals party. We have a dedicated room in our space for any kind of celebration. There are several packages available for your needs, including your own space, a private walkthrough of the experience, magical goodie bags, and more!
